HP Proliant BL Servers

The HP ProLiant BL series of blade servers, also known as the HP ProLiant BladeSystem series, is the industry leader in blade server technology. Featuring support for both the latest Intel Xeon and AMD Opteron processors, HP ProLiant blade servers are designed to meet the needs of small, medium and large-sized enterprises with cutting-edge technologies and top-of-the-line components.

Some examples of the performance-enhancing technologies and features offered by the HP C-Class BladeSystem series include multiple redundant components, a vast array of I/O options, embedded RAID controllers, HP Integrated Lights Out, Virtual Connect technology and numerous network interconnect alternatives.

At the core of the HP ProLiant blade server infrastructure is the HP BladeSystem C7000 blade chassis. The HP C7000 chassis houses all of the power, cooling, I/O in a space-saving 10U chassis. With 8 available interconnect bays, HP customers have myriad different options when it comes to Ethernet, Fibre Channel (FC) and/or Virtual Connect technologies. All of this means that customers utilizing HP C-Class enclosures realize greater modularity, redundancy, and flexibility over industry offerings.

With the different data center power requirements in use, the HP C-Class power offerings are up to the challenge. The HP C7000 blade enclosure can be configured with single phase, three phase and -48V DC input.  In addition to the HP C7000, there is also the HP C3000 blade enclosure, which houses up to 8 half-height or 4 full-height blade servers in a 5U chassis.
